General Contractor

Where PCR would submit a fixed price, lump sum proposal or bid for the entire construction scope of work for a project. Submissions would be made to either the project consultants or directly to the client. pricing is based on a set of Contract documents which can include drawings, project manuals, specifications and issued addendums which are issued by a design professional such as an architect or engineer several weeks prior to proposals being submitted.

As a general contractor PCR has the responsibility for all aspects of building the project. PCR would be responsible for providing all of the material, labour, equipment and services necessary for the construction of the project. PCR would apply for building permits, provide temporary offices and utilities on site, manage personnel on site, provide site surveying and engineering as required, dispose or recycling of constructed waste, monitor schedules and maintain accurate project records. PCR would hire specialized subcontractors to perform all or portions of the construction work along with taking responsibility for the quality and workmanship completed on all work performed.

PCR has completed and continues to be contracted as a general contractor on several projects across southwestern Ontario.
